Super Bowl squares fundraiser
Raise money for your school, team, or charity with the easiest game of the year. The board shows your cause, splits the pot for you, and costs nothing to run.
How the online pool works
Step 1
Create the pool
Name it, pick the teams and the price per square, and choose how the pot is paid out.
Step 2
Share one link
Send it to the group chat. Each person types their name and taps the squares they want.
Step 3
Draw the numbers
When the board is full, draw random digits 0–9 for each team, or type in your own. The board locks.
Step 4
Enter the scores
After each quarter or game, type in the score. The winning square lights up for everyone.
What a board can raise
| Price per square | Full board | Cause keeps (50%) | Prizes (50%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5 | $500 | $250 | $250 |
| $10 | $1,000 | $500 | $500 |
| $20 | $2,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 |
| $50 | $5,000 | $2,500 | $2,500 |
Tips for selling every square
- Price squares so a family can buy a few. $10 to $20 sells well for school and team boards.
- Send the link to parents, alumni, and boosters, not just players. Anyone with the link can pick a square.
- Turn on approval so a square only counts once it’s paid, and add Venmo or Cash App so people pay in one tap.
- Post the rules on the board: your cause, the payout split, and the payment deadline.
- Draw the numbers only after the board fills, so every square is worth the same when people buy.

FAQ
How does a Super Bowl squares fundraiser work?
It’s a normal squares pool where part of the pot goes to your cause. Sell all 100 squares, keep the agreed share, and pay the rest to the quarter winners. At $10 a square with a 50% share, a full board raises $500 and pays $500 in prizes.
How much can a squares fundraiser raise?
A full board raises the price per square times 100 times your share. $20 squares at 50% raise $1,000. Running two or three boards for a big group multiplies that.
Do we pay a fee to use this?
No. Other squares sites charge per grid. This one is free, so everything you keep goes to your cause.
Is a squares fundraiser legal?
Rules on raffles and games of chance vary by state, and some require a license for charitable gaming. Check your state’s rules, or ask your school or nonprofit, before collecting money.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no per-grid fee and no account needed. Create the pool, share the link, and run it start to finish for free. Signing in is optional and only saves the pool to your account so you can manage it from any device.
How do I share the pool with friends?
After you create the pool you get a share link. Send it by text, group chat, or email. Anyone with the link can open the board, type their name, and tap open squares. Taken squares fill in for everyone within a few seconds.
When should the numbers be drawn?
After the squares are taken, so nobody can choose a square that already has good numbers. Draw at random with one tap, or type in numbers you pulled from a hat. Once numbers are set, players can no longer change their squares.
What if someone takes a square and never pays?
Turn on approval so new picks stay pending until you approve them, mark each square paid as money comes in, and remove names that never pay. A join code keeps out anyone who was forwarded the link.
Does this collect or pay out money?
No. Add your Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal and players get a button that opens the app with their amount filled in, so money goes straight to you. The board tracks who has paid. Check the rules where you live before playing for money.
Can I use it for a fundraiser?
Yes. Set a share of the pot for your school, team, or charity, and the board shows the cause and pays winners from the rest.
